Restaurant chef
This includes executive chef, garde manager, and saucier. All these types of chefs work in professional kitchens with their own specific role. As a chef, you can get specialization in one area like fish, roasting, or sauces. Sous and executive chefs, on the other hand, are more focused on planning menus, managing kitchen staff, sourcing fresh ingredients, monitoring inventory, and creating innovative dishes. Personal chef
Instead of serving a client that changes constantly, as a personal chef, you will be working one-on-one with recurring households and clients. While working as a personal chef, you will have to either prepare multiple meals that the client can eat throughout the week or make one meal at a time. As a food service manager, you will be working in hotels, hospitals, school cafeterias, entertainment venues, and any place that prepares and serves food.
