MBA at Invertis, what should students look forward to?

As an MBA student, you will learn about academic theories and how to apply them in real-world situations. The MBA curriculum at Invertis has its challenges and students should be willing to work hard to keep up. All MBA students want to land a high-paying and challenging job after completing their degree. Earning good grades is as important in this field as making contacts with professors, executives, and peers who might be helpful in the future.

The MBA program at Invertis University is a full-time course of 2 years. Here is what you can expect from your MBA course:

1st Year

Regardless of what specialization you want to pursue MBA in, the first year can be particularly daunting. The first year of an MBA involves a significant amount of learning with intense volume and pace. This part of your MBA education can be particularly overwhelming but it is not impossible to keep up with. As you continue your course, you will get used to the pacing and the amount you have to study.

The first year is primarily about the core curriculum. It is aimed at providing students a general overview of the business and its major areas.

MBA specializations range from management, accounting, and finance to decision sciences, economics, and organizational behavior. For instance, a core marketing MBA course covers communications, segmentation, pricing, planning, and implementation of product-line.

Students are also required to take electives.

Internships

Between your 1st and 2nd year of MBA, you will have to pursue an internship to get real-world experience. The first year is likely to get by very quickly. Before you know, recruiters will show up for internships. Most first-year students pursue internship positions aggressively. These internships are linked with the chance of receiving permanent job offers if the candidate performs well in the internship.

2nd Year

A significant part of the second year involves taking electives for gaining proficiency in your preferred specialization area. You will also be involved in networking and job searching. During your second year, you will find that the academic workload is lighter. By this time, students usually know what is important and what is not.

Your MBA experience at Invertis is also about socializing with your fellow students. You never know which of them could be your future customers or even business partners. It is always beneficial to try and get to know your classmates.

Another important aspect of your MBA experience is Alumni. You get to learn about the theory and practice through your professors but you get an insight into the real world of business through alumni. Once you are ready to apply for a job, you can seek help from an alumni who is working at a company you are interested in. They can help you get the interview and even guide you through the process of hiring. You can even get more general advice on landing a job.
