Our Indian constitution has a diverse set of laws. There is a wide variety of laws as per the requirements of the people.
Need is to make people aware of their rights. If they are incapable of protecting their own rights and fight for their own justice, the role of lawyers, advocates and judges come to the light. 1.      Litigating Lawyer: A litigating lawyer or an Advocate represents the client’s case in the court. An oppressed first seeks the services of an advocate to get justice in case of needy situations. One needs to get enrolled with the State Bar Council and clear the All India Bar Examination.
2.      Corporate Council: A lawyer can also provide legal counselling services to their corporate clients. The key area of business firms is to buy and sell products and services, they are novice in legal matters. Hence corporate lawyer helps them handle legal disputes, disputes over land, intellectual property rights.
3.      Law firm: The law firm brings lawyers and advocates under one roof they are well organised and registered firm. Aim is to provide legal advice to clients and possible courses of action.
4.      Social work: Law graduates who love to serve the society can join NGO to work for social cause. Since law graduates have a better understanding of the acts and laws which they can strategically use to protect the society, NGO’s are of various categories like environment protection, gender equality, labour conditions etc, international organisations like the United Nations (UN), the International Labour Organisation (ILO)also openly absorbs law graduates.

How to become a Law Graduate
Method 1:
       Opt for any stream in class 11th-12th. Though there is no restriction of stream to become a lawyer, but Humanities prove to be useful.
       Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) Several law colleges are there in India which offer this course of 5 years including internship.
Method 2:
       Complete your graduation in any stream.
       Pursue a 3 year LLB Programme from any reputed law college.
