The youth of the nation is brimming with innovative ideas with the recent encouragement they have been receiving from some of the government initiatives like Make in India and Startup India. There has been a surge in the number of young entrepreneurs in the recent past. Entrepreneurship was the kind of dream that was mostly dreamt of people with a strong financial background, a good business background, and innovative ideas. However, entrepreneurship has now become an attainable dream for people from all walks of life.

A great idea, an excellent and sustainable business plan accompanied by a fair amount of funding are all the requisitions for a successful business. But a successful entrepreneur also needs at least a good educational background if not a management degree. So for a student dreaming to be a successful entrepreneur in the immediate future it would be a great idea to enrol in a full-time degree course of Bachelor of Commerce.

Invertis University offers a full-time degree course of three years intending to prepare the students with a wide range of subjects in commerce. The curriculum is designed to enable the students to face the challenges of both, either pursuing a professional course or a dream of becoming an entrepreneur. The enrollment into this course requires a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 and the selection criteria are based on merit.

The bachelor's of commerce degree is divided into six semesters. The first semester covers the basics of business communication, management, accounting, economics, and computer. The subjects in the second semester are complex versions of the law, accounting, statistics, and accounting. The third semester comprises of corporate law and accounting, industrial law, and the basics of entrepreneurship.

The fourth semester consists of auditing, finance, human resource management, income tax law, and financial system. The fifth semester has subjects on the Indian economy, management accounting, Principles of marketing, IT & it's business application, and Indian banking system ensuring the students get a good understanding of the various aspects of the business. 

The sixth and final semester is designed to ensure that the students can acquire knowledge in the most complex subjects relevant to the business world like Industrial relations, International marketing, and the basics of insurance and e-commerce. The subjects in each semester ensure that the students receive a thorough knowledge of a wide variety of subjects that would enable them to tackle the challenges of the business world.

A good educational background may not necessarily guarantee success in business but it provides an extra edge in the business world to handle the dynamics of entrepreneurship. A good business idea and a great business plan that covers all the contingencies are important to form a solid foundation of a business. A bachelor's/ master's degree enables the students to better equip themselves for the challenges that may arise when they choose to become entrepreneurs in the future.

A business degree enables entrepreneurs to acquire knowledge on various areas of business enabling them to make well-informed decisions and prepare them to face the contingencies of the business world.
